Indeed, today, this is the era of digital transformation so there are more and more online websites providing abundant information and the latest news constantly. Therefore, citizens can get instant exposure to these sources at their fingertips with just a click. Thanks to advanced technological tools, these days, there is a wide range of ways to display information, such as dynamic reels on Instagram, and interactive infographics on websites that allow readers to communicate in the two-way. In addition, smartphones’ functionality creates flexibility for modern people to access easily, even in the case of moving. For instance, despite travelling by bus, people can also read news both internally and externally.
Nevertheless, on the flip side, newspapers today still play an important role on a daily basis to keep pace with the trendy news. Firstly, almost all newspapers are produced by prestigious publications that successfully pass the rigid inspection by the government before officially be on air. Therefore, they ensure the quality as well as the accuracy of news preventing the cases of misleading issues, particularly political matters. Additionally, according to a recent report, researchers showed that readers would be more likely to concentrate when reading newspapers or magazines in comparison to digital newspapers. Furthermore, the newspaper will provide a well-rounded analysis and comprehensive overview of crucial matters, thereby helping people get an in-depth understanding of complicated issues.
In conclusion, although digital newspapers facilitate considerable benefits for citizens, I am convinced that traditional newspapers will endure as the quintessential means of accessing news.
