It is believed that the high figures for favored products show marketing development and unnecessary customer demands in which they are sold. Personally, I completely agree with this view.
Contrary to popular belief, the high figures for favored products are mainly thanks to the ubiquity of technology. One reason is that many companies paid money to advertise their products on many websites which have great hits, we can see enormous adverts on the social network. For example, many businesses used their avenues and reviews of a popular idol to entice into checking that adverts. It must be a persuasive post and eventually, we come to a decision about buying that product, perhaps we want to stay up to date with the latest fashions or own the newest high-status device.
Furthermore, due to consumer psychology nowadays, many organizations impulse product placements. In fact, in recent research with regards to more and more children or even adults addicted to junk food. People apparently cannot resist when they see an enticing advertisement in a fast food outlet.
Apart from the practical benefits expressed above, I believe that they are outweighed by the overwhelming
In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, the belief that the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold is completely unjustified. Everyone should consider the massive amount of advertising which allured us to click the button to place an order carefully, will continue until they die out.
