At universities in some countries, it is common for students, especially for those who have no scholarship, to have jobs while they study. They may work in offices, at the library, in labs or as teachers’ assistants. They earn money for living expenses and sometimes receive a reduction in tuition as well.
Is this a good idea? Support your opinion with specific reasons and details.
It is true that the students prefer to work during study period remains a controversy in the education field. While this issue is fit to somebody, I totally agree that student should concentrate on academy study with noticeable exception that their family couldn’t give him essential expenditure fee.
On the one hand, there are a variety of reasons why working in university is beneficial. Firstly, it is absolute correct that by working students will be able to earn money from his jobs, and since they will likely be mature enough. Secondly, throughout working, student who has to work may obtain a lot of experience and skill such as communication skill, schedule control which student do not touch in classroom. By working, the important factor which student obtains that they will reduce the gap between theory and reality, it had better if the part-time job are closed to the their speciality such as computer scientist student should seek a job in computer shop or press student trying to be a collaborator of newspapers.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages to take into consideration before working. Firstly, the part-time job accounted for a significant free time which use for homework and self-research, consequently, student spend no time to focus on studying it lead to the score decline. Furthermore, another problem is health. When working two or more jobs, student do not have enough time to relax and enjoy, during long period the body will get sick.
From what has been discussed above I can draw the conclusion that student should not had a part-time job unless they get in financial troubles.
