the plans below show the layout of a university's sports center now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
The diagram depicts the structure of a university’s sports center at the present and its transformation after reconstruction.
Looking from an overall perspective, there are significant changes that provide more amenities with sports facilities toward the West and the East of the Sports Centre. At the main entrance, there will add more changing rooms, and entertainment spots like shopping and café.
At the present, there are two outdoor courts on either side of the university sports building. The plan is to convert the west outdoor courts into a leisure pool larger in size than the current 25m pool at the center. To the east outdoor courts are going to replace with a sports hall next to the seating area, erect two adjacent dance studios at the northeast. The facilities in the main building will not undergo alterations including changing rooms, reception, pool, and seating. The only slight difference is that the northernmost gym above the swimming pool will be double in size eastwards.
Right on the entrance, two changing rooms will be constructed at the end of two sides of the south of the building and the adjoining sports shop to the west. Across from the sports shop, there will be a café for relaxing.
