You need to attend a family event. Your child will be missing school for a day. Write a letter to the school principal and say–

1- What is the event?
2- Why is it important for your child to be there?
3- How will your child make up

Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing to inform you that my son won`t be able to attend the school day on next Monday due to our commitment with a family occasion.

I invited my parents to stay with us during this month, and they will arrive the city this Sunday. When I was doing all my parents` visit arrangement, I realized that their wedding anniversary is on the coming Monday. Hence, I invited all other family to celebrate this special occasion with them. It will be an extremely memorable moment with a sentimental value to my parents

I have read that attending family events are very important for children, and they understand many values out of it. Therefore, it will be an amazed chance to spend some quality time with his grandmother and grandfather. My son will learn also that love continues ever after between a couple.

Some lessons will be missed on Monday, but I can taut it to my son at home. I would therefore request that you tell me the Monday lessons and any other home work need to be done to enable him catch it up with the next school day. It will be very useful to not miss any lesson with his class.

I look forward to receiving the lessons list.

Yours sincerely,

Ayoub
