Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
People learn more by watching television than by reading books.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Nowadays, people spend more time watching television instead of reading books. It is often argued that if people can learn from TV more than they would learn from books. Personally, I believe that television cannot help people to learn as much as a book. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, television shows do not have enough time to go through a topic, so they often give a superficial view of a subject in comparison to books. A tv show is barely more than one or two hours, in this limited time, they only can review a topic and are not able to provide details. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. Last week I watched a short tv show about an animal called armadillo. I really became interested in that animal and wanted to obtain some more information. When I searched about it, I found a book that had comprehensively explained the animal. The information in the book was ten times more than what I had seen on the show.
Additionally, television offers a lot of trivial materials instead of practical things. There are a large number of tv shows, contests, movies, etc. and a few channels provide scientific or useful programs. In fact, people are more likely to enjoy their free time when they come to watch tv and do not want to learn something, and as a result, tv show producers prefer to make entertaining materials. For example, making a documentary content often requires a lot of money, on the other hand, preparing a cooking tutorial takes far less money, however the number of people who watch these two are almost equal. This has ended in decline in instructive tv programs.
In conclusion, although television is good for spending pleasure time or getting familiar with something, but never can replace books when it comes to learning and people still should read books if they actually want to learn.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
