Some people like to record their life by sharing pictures and other information on social-networking sites. Others keep this information to themselves and never share it online.
Thanks to the rapid development of information technology, a growing number of netizens start to utilize Internet upload their personal data such as pictures in order to record their daily life. However, other people may be worried about the privacy issue so they are unwilling to publish their private life on the Internet. From my point of view, exposing your individual privacy online is a dangerous behavior, so I hardly record anything about my life on the internet.
To begin with, no one can ensure the information which you upload on social networking websites is always secure and will not leak. Once your privacy is acquired illegally by hackers or other evildoers, the consequences are catastrophic. For example, evildoers will spread your information without your agreement. They can even use your information to do illegal things and deceive your families or friends. The worst case is that you may be noticed by these evildoers. If you are searched by person pork, you may even get hurt in real life.
What’s more, frequently releasing your personal dynamics on social networks can be disgusting. People who surrounding you will feel tired and annoyed to make continuous response to your endless dynamics. Take one of my roommates for example, he adores recording everything on the social networking websites like Wechat Moments. At the begin, his friends were all willing to give a like to his dynamics. As time goes by, most his friends lost their patience and ignored his message.
Admittedly, social networking websites provide people convenient communication with others and
make our life more colorful, recording one’s daily life seems to be an essential part of the modern life. But all these things are based on protecting our privacy. There are more other methods to express your feeling such holding a party and inviting your friends to join in, so it is no need to record too much information online.
To sum up, in order to protect personal privacy, it is wisdom to avoid uploading pictures and other information on the social network, especially the significant privacy. Sharing your joys with your friends is legitimate, however, never forget to keep privacy awareness.
