Some students prefer classes with open discussions between the professor and students and almost no lectures. Other student prefer classes with lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer . Use reasons and examples to support your answer.
There are some moot points about the methods which students prefer for their classes. The question of which classes are more beneficial for students and which classes are more preferences from students has aroused as a subject of controversy among academicians. When it comes to my position, with weighing up the pros and the cons, I strongly subscribe to the point that the class with open discussion between professors and students is better than a class with no discussion. I have some reasons, the most outstanding of which will be aptly explicated in the ensuing paragraphs.
The first reason worth discussing here is in open discussion classes, students engage with everything in the class, therefore, they ask more questions and hear more answers. These issues help them to boost their education. To be more specific, in open discussion classes students are free to explain their viewpoints. They can change their faults and find out their foible in every class. As a case to the point, I vividly remember when I was a student at the university. I had a class with professor Domiry who studied in the united state. Thus he believed that open discussion class is very lucrative for students, therefore, we had a very useful with him. Due to this method, I learned mathematics engineering very well and I gained a top score in that class. My personal experience competently corroborates to the point that open discussion classes help students to know their positive and negative aspects.
By the same token, another paramount reason to be mentioned here is that scholars assert that open discussion classes fortify students learning ability and boost their acquirements. My personal example demonstrates this reality, two days ago I watched documentation on the BBC channel. In that program scientist set up an experiment to measure the impact of open discussion classes on students learning the ability. Hence, they selected a group of students who were top students. In one class they experienced open discussion method and in another class, they only had a lecture. The corollary of this test revealed that in open discussion class those students gained more knowledge. My personal experience shed some light to the point that open discussion classes are more fruitful for students.
To wrap it up, according to the aforementioned reasons, I reiterate that, I vehemently prefer open discussion classes because these kinds of class not only help students to be active in the class but also, reinforce their learning ability. I strongly suggest to professors to choose this method for their classes.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
