We could learn new lessons in classes at a university, school, library or any other institute by means of discussions between students and lectures by teachers. In my opinion, classes with many discussions between students and the professor are more practical since the professor teaches the class dynamically and actively and also I would realize how to think about a subject from different perspectives.
In most classes that include relentless lectures only by the teacher I feel drowsy. As an example, in high school I always found the literature class too boring. My teacher would read the written texts and poems, explain the meaning of them, describe the concepts and talk about the biography of the writers all by herself. I always felt sleepy and I couldn’t concentrate at all so, I had a recorder with myself in that class and I recorded her voice and used them when I wanted to study for the exams. Consequently, although I got a good grade for the literature course as I studied hard for exams, I didn’t learn a lot in these kinds of classes, and I have never been enthusiastic to read more than the materials I was taught according to the syllabus.
On the other hand, in a class which students get involved in the class, there are lots of discussions and students debate about subjects with the instructor, I might see a concept from different facets as everybody has a unique attitude toward something. For instance, in high school in my math courses most of the time teachers asked students to solve the problems and present their solution on the board. So, we got familiar with various methods to think and solve the issues. As another example, in university I had a history course which its professor stimulated students by asking lots of questions which didn’t have a clear answer. As a result, students debated together during the class and they also searched online or read books in the library after the class for getting prepared to present their ideas better for the next sessions. I studied lots of texts for my history class in university about the industrial revolution in Europe and I learned them by heart because I enjoyed them and used my information in the class to discuss with others.
In conclusion, I believe students probably learn practical information during discussions in the classes, while they get bored in classes which don’t include any involvement except the professors. Students wouldn’t acquire any knowledge when they are napping during a teacher’s lecture.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
