Essay topics:

Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they challenge the specific points made in the reading passage.

The reading and the lecture offer two opposing views on asteroids as an alternative colonization. Whereas the author of the reading suggests that asteroids provide great opportunities for develop colony on them, the lecturer enumerates three reasons to reject this concept. He challenges the idea by explaining the three following facts.
First, according to the text, having low gravity in asteroids, easier landing and taking off could be provided for spacecrafts. In this case, crafts could carry more necessary objects for astronauts, and their easier take off allows them to use their remained fuel back to Earth. However, the lecturer disputes that low gravity has many negative effects on astronauts' health such as reducing bone density and loosing muscle’s mass, which hurt colonists’ body.
Secondly, the author claims that asteroids have many cherished minerals which is lucrative to mining, finding, and transferring to Earth. Although, the lecturer believes that supporting the colony and transferring the precious minerals to Earth have noticeable expenses, which will lessen the worth of fulfilling this idea. Moreover, he asserts that in case of mining lots of minerals, their prices in the market would decline. Consequently, it will decrease the profit of the mission.
Finally, the reading mentions that the asteroids are in near Earth, and reaching and returning from them would take lower time than other planets, but the lecturer implies that the asteroids are orbiting erratically. He explains that it would be possible to reach them easily, but they change their path regularly, which makes the returning procedure more challenging.

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
