Firstly, the lecturer feels that the use of the electronic medium to keep data will not save money. She avers that those doctors who adapt to use of using technology to save their work data, they also keep original paper-based data so that they can use that in any emergency or police case. As they will continue to use the paper-based record, they will be unable to save money by using technology.
Secondly, the writer of the reading states that medical errors will be reduced by using electronic medical records, however, the speaker does not agree with this assumption. She said that as the row data are mainly generated by the doctor who will not involve at recording or be storing the data in an electronic format, the bad handwriting problem will not remove from the data. As a result, people cannot hope that medical errors will be eliminated by using technology.
Finally, the writer of the reading claims that if all medical data can store in an electronic medium, the researcher will be benefited. On the other hand, the professor feels that this will not help to research more accurately. He says that all data are private and every patient has the key to controlling his or her medical data, and he can block to other people except curing cases. And there are several legal restrictions to use or access that information, so one has to pass many people and agency to get access the data to do research which is almost impossible to do.
That's how the speaker refutes the argument of the reading.
Everyone has his own medium to be motivated. It is obvious that advice coming from an eminent person has a strong influence on the adult population of a country. However, all saying are not take as seriously as some others. In my opinion, celebrities advice has more impact on adult people than an older people. I feel this way for several reasons which I will explore in the following essay.
First of all, the large portion of people of a country who are young is more prone to imitate other especially celebrities. For example, when I was at college, one of my favorite actors was Amir Khan who was the main character of my favorite movie 3 Idiots, I always tried to copy his role in my day to day life. As a result, I was beginning to consider myself as an engineering student like he was in that movie. Finally, when I admitted to an engineering university, I found myself very satisfied. So, this example properly illustrates how a role of an actor can influence a college student.
Secondly, student life is the best time to learn something new and after being an elderly people no one wants to learn or know something new. When we are at an initial stage, we have lots of time to watch other activities especially someone who is very popular with all people. On the other hand, when we go to a process of learning and finish the level, we do not want to back ourselves to the previous stage. As a result, we do not like to learn from others rather we just want to establish our own opinion. For instance, Shakib Al Hassan, the allrounder cricketer of the ICC, is followed by many young people, once he gave a message about sanitation problem of our villages as well as a city. Even though his message is not unknown to people, all students started work with his organization and then save lots of people's life.
