First, the reading claims that the information which are provided by contributors have a shortage of academic materials. The professor rebuts this point by saying that it is probable that traditional methods have faults but most information on the internet have a strong references which make them reliable and easy to correct.
Second, the article posits that it is probable that reckless users or hackers get opportunities to change and eliminate the information. However, the professor says that the most data on the internet are protected by some strategies such as formatting readings to be read-only, as a result nobody can change them. The lecturer also mentions that there are people and organizations who monitors the data and detect every suspicious change.
Third, the author of the reading states that the communal encyclopedia mainly is dedicated to frequently topics deeply. The professor, on the other hand, feels that there is no limitation of space on the online communal encyclopedia, and because of this, the variety of articles is plethora. According to the professor this diversity is a brilliant advantageof the online communal encyclopedia.
