Dinosaurs
The professor explains that R. robustus is probably an active hunter of dinosaurs. The information she presents directly contrasts the facts outlined in the reading passage. The reading shows that the mammal's stomach contained the remains of a psittacosaur dinosaur.
First of all, the speaker mentions that although this mammal is small in term of size, it doesn't necessarily mean that it would not be able to hunt psittocosaurs or similar dinosaurs. She says that in order to be capable in hunting dinosaurs, the size of the hunter is at least two times bigger than its prey. In such a case, it is possible for R. robustus that has twice the mass of baby psittocosaurs. On the other hand, according to the reading, R. robustus would have been capable to hunt psittocosaurs since R. robustus was not big enough to catch its prey.
Second, the professor maintains that in corresponding to Tazmanian devil having similar length and position of legs, R. robustus might be also run as fast as 15 km per hour. With this speed, it's possible for R. robustus to chasing after its prey. Nonetheless, the reading includes the information that the small legs of R. Robustus, however, tend to be more suited for scavenging and its legs are also positioned to somewhat to the side, thereby making it difficult to catch psittocosaurs easily.
Last but least, she points out that R. robustus has a powerful jobs, thus facilitating this animal to swallow its animal without leaving any teeth mark on its prey's bones. In addition, she believes that R. robustus used its back teeth in swallowing its prey in big pieces. However, the reading specifies that the dinosaur bones inside the R. robustus' stomach contains no teeth mark and claims that this dinosaur probably swallowed an egg found in an unguarded dinosaur nest.
