Dinosaurs as Endotherm Animals
The lecture opposed the reading that advocates dinosaurs were endotherms with three reasons.
Firstly, the reading mentioned the dinosaurs were exposed at polar areas. However, the lecture pointed out that the Polar Regions were warm enough then when dinosaurs lived there, and they could migrate to warmer places as the winter came. The region where the dinosaurs been discovered cannot prove that dinosaurs are endotherms.
The second conflict between the lecture and reading is that the latter claimed dinosaurs' body were as like as crocodiles need high energy to support. On the other hand, the lecture proposed an explanation that the dinosaurs' leg might used to hold heavy weight and help them to grow higher except for run faster.
Lastly, the reading denoted the dinosaurs' bone structure were similar to endotherms. Albeit the structures were alike, the lecture cast doubt on it for dinosaurs had growth rings to stop growing or slower growing during tough times and seasons which forms a huge difference with endotherms who grow quickly and unable to stop.
