The reading was mentioned three statement why online encyclopedia have problems. However, the points made in the lecture cast doubt on the reading.
First, According to the passage, communal encyclopedia is not perfect as printed one because it gives less academic knowledge written by nonspecialist specialist. Regardless, lecturer dismissed the statement that even in traditional encyclopedia is not perfect. Moreover, if they made mistake on printed on it can be fixed easily but it was written in printed one, it will give wrong information for decades.
Secondly, the lecturer disagreed with the reading, stating that hacking is not almost impossible because the web is fully protected and only special person with permission can make change in context. Hence, as mentioned in passage, changing information by hacker is disproved.
Last, the reading mainly stated that in online version, there are too much information wrote against crucial topic; However, the lecturer was critical of the passage. She mention that due to the limited space in printed encyclopedia, specialist wrote only the most important information but online encyclopedia enabled to wrote variety of information that related to the topic.
In sum, given the points clarified by the lecturer, there is no doubt that passage has been proven untrue. Lecturer furtherly explained that online dictionary's strongest advantages was anyone can read fully detail information.
