efficacy of cloud seeding
The reading present the efficacy of cloud seeding which is a developed method of reducing hails that devastate the cultivations in farms of United States. The profssor, however, challenges the opinios and refutes all the claims made in the article.
First, the author asserts that it had tested in laboratory that it is efective and experiments show that silver iodide addition to cloud. The lecturer, on the other hand, proves that seed clouding might prevent any kind of percipitation which would lead to drought that consequently, affects crops intensively.
Furthermore, the writer states that due to the good results in some countries in Asia, it would be benefitiary in US, too. In contrast, the speaker contends that Asian countries have the problem of air pollution in their urban areas and in those situation seed cloud had that result, whereas,it cannot be experienced in non-polluted farms of the US.
Finally, the author says that according to local studies surveyed in many areas, the reduction of hails can be concluded. Conversely, the lecturer proves that it is wrong to take into conclution that in farms of the US, the hail would reduce because different areas' weather vary from each other naturally.
