increase cane toads

Essay topics:

increase cane toads

the provided materials are concerned with increasing in cane toad population in Astralia that they had sent to that location to protect farmers crops. the author states that several measures have been proposed to stop increasing of these species.in contrast the lecturer repudiates this point through several counterarguments that are as follows:

initially the author says that a national fence coud stop the toad spread and prevent them to move and inhabit in other places.however the lecturer explains that the fence woud not stop cane toads espesially young group of them and their eggs and they could carry on the other side and this is not effective.

second the writer thinks that the toads could be destroyed by some of volunteers beacause they can easily be caught by hand and several traps yet again the speaker underscores that because she thinks that the hunters may be hent another species of animals instead of toads and it can be dangerous for other animals.

The final point of contention between the reading and listening passages is that reaserchers are developing a virus that is able to control the cane populations.the author says that the virus can effect only in toads and its not harful for other species and there is no concern about this.on the other hand the the speaker explains that sometimes some of these toads were captured and were sent in to south america for experiments or reaserches and if they were polluted with viruses it is so peril to other specious that live in south america and paly an important role in ecosystems.
