The reading text and lecture are both about the effect of earthworm on the ecosystem. The author of this article believe that earthworm has many positive effects on the environment. The lecturer is cast doubt on the point made by the author. He is also placing his own view on this topic.
Firstly, the reading text state that, The earthworm is improves the physical and chemical properties of soil. Also, he can alter tha structure and texture of the soil, that is beneficial to the plant. In contrast, the lecturer says that, the earthworm is demaging the forest ecosystem. Additionally, he state that this earthworms are eating all the dough on the soil.
Secondly, The reading passage suggest that channel burrowing by the earthworms are more beneficial for the root development. On the other hand, the lecturer says that, this earthworms are more harmful for the wild flower. Rapid disappear of the dough is led to the destruction of wild flower. Moreover, he state that, this will casue major impact on the wild photography.
Finally, the author state that, earthworms has the major contribution in the food web. Many aniamals are preyed on them . On the flip side, The lecturer says that, earthworm is also destruct many animal habitate. The dough is major habtate for the salamander and eating down all the dough is impacting on population of the salamander.
In conclusion, the reading text and lecture are both about the advantage and disadvantage of earthworms. The lectuere is able to argued on the topic made by the author.
