The passage and lecture are both talking about presence of soft tissue from remnant of blood vessels in resent discovered fossils. The author claims three evidences which support present of soft tissue blood vessels in these fossils. The lecturer casts doubt on claim made in article. He states, all these evidences are incorrect.
First, the writer states, there are many channels in in broken fossilized leg bone of T .res which are correspond to channels present in bone where blood vessels were located. The lecturer refutes this notion, He elaborates on other materials rather than blood vessels present in fossils. He says, bacteria can colonize in the fossils and then decomposition of fossils materials. These bacteria had same organic material like blood vessels
Second, the author says, test showed, there were spheres that could be the remnants of red blood cells. moreover there is a dark center in sphere which is iron in the red cell blood. This argument is challenged by professor. He states, primitive animals did not have blood vessels before many years ago. These primitive species had also spheres in side their fossils. Therefore present of spheres dose not mean there is blood vessels soft tissue in fossils.
Finally, the author contents, dinosaur leg cotain collagens fibers which are considerd as biochemical materials for soft tissue. The lecturer contradictes this point. He points out, collagen fibers did not find in animals before long time ago. He mentions, these collagen fibers may be from skin cells of researchers orfrom their bones.
