Pterosaurs
The passage mentioned that pterosaurs are were not capable to powered flight because it is cold-blooded, to heavy to stay in the air, and unable to take off. But the lecture disagrees with that.
In the beginning, the passage talks about one reason why Pterosaurs can’t fly, which is it is cold-blooded, and they don’t have enough energy to fly. But the lecture states that, there are hair that were found that belongs to Pterosaurs, this proves that Pterosaurs are actually warm-blooded animals, because only warm-blooded animals have hair. And if this was true , then Pterosaurs do have enough energy to fly.
After proving the first point wrong, the lecture move on to the second point the passage talks about, which is Pterosaurs is too heavy to stay in the air. The lecture states that Pterosaurs have hollow bones which makes them very light. So, Pterosaurs can be able to fly.
At last, the passage claims that Pterosaurs was not able to fly because it cannot take off from the ground like a bird. The lecture, however, states that Pterosaurs use both two legs and two hands to take off, just like bats, if Pterosaurs use all four legs, it will be well enough to take off.
