The reading puts forward three reasons that Pterosaurs were not able to do powered flight, while the listening disagree.

First, the reading suggests that Pterosaurs were cold blood animal.Their metabolism is too slow to provide enough energy for them to fly. However, the listening aruges that the recent research about the fossil of the Pterosaurs finds out that Pterosaurs had hair or fur to cover their body,a warm blood animals' feature that are capable to offer the energy that powered flight need.

Second, the reading says that Pterosaurs are too heavy to fly.The listening denys it by pointing out that Pterosaurs' bone are hollow and light which can make their weight low.Furthermore,Pterosaurs can lower their weight by flapping their wings.

Third, the reading proposes that Pterosaurs'  back leg muscles were too small and weak to let them fly, while the listening points out that unlike bird,Pterosaurs used 4 limbs to climb on the ground. And with the help of 4 limbs ranther than just 2 back legs to push off,Pterosaurs could fly.
