The term endothermic meaning the animal can maintain the constant body temperature regardless of surrounding weather pattern. The reading passage tries prove that the dinosaur is endothermic animals but the speaker refutes the all the statements made in reading passage in following ways let see one by one.
Firstly, the reading passage says that the dinosaur was lived in the polar region with that extreme climate,so it is endothermic animal but the lecturer refutes this point by stating that the dinosaur used to migrate from the polar region during the winter season and moreover the fossil report never says that they lived during winter season.
Secondly, reading passage explains that the dinosaur's legs are present beneath body like other endothermic animals like mammals in order to to walk fast and pump the blood faster.Even though professor accept this point somewhat still he argues that this presence of legs beneath body is for the purposes bearing the it's weigh because it is very large animal and moreover heavy weight will not animal to run faster. So the dinosaur is not a endothermic animal.
Thirdly, the reading passage states that the dinosaur bone contains the Heaver son's canal so the dinosaur would be endothermic animal. But the professor explains this statements in contrast way the presence of this canal purpose is thicken the bone. Fossil reports says that this canal gets thicken during the warmer time and thinner during the colder time, meaning the dinosaur use to grow faster at warmer period than winter. so dinosaur can not be the endothermic animal.
To sum up, because the dinosaur migrated during the winter period in polar region, the purpose of legs being beneath body to support the body and the presence of ring canal in it's bone, professor conclude that the dinosaur is not a endothermic animal.
