The reading passage posits that most of the problems in a society can be hindered with high education. However, professor contradicts the statement using three reasons. To elaborate one has to go through scrupulous discussion below.
Firstly, not all educated people are open to suggestions and various beliefs. It is visible that the people those are less educated are ready to accept the different opinions. If this the case even though these is a lot of information spread about the current situation which they are not ready to accept and take in the situation would be further deteriorated.
In addition, the particular group is not ready to accepts the facts that are against their beliefs. They would like to absorb the statements that are in compatible with their beliefs and would leave behind the facts that are not convenient which would thwart a lot of valuable information helping them to get an idea of situation that is actually happening in the current society.
Furthermore, the political parties want the educated people to leave in fear so that they can take control of the whole situation managing on their own without any rival coming in their way. If this the case society will stand still at a place where it is right now with corruption and cheating going on around even though there is a lot of development. They mainly depend on broadcast which is telecasted in the news channels and their failure to check the actual facts because of their busy nature will further prevent the growth.
To conclude, the statement is considered untenable with various questions and unwarranted assumptions. This can be considered true only if the professor provides answers to the above assumptions. At this point it is considered dubious and almost falls flat.

- Some people believe that the most effective means of advancing the development of a society is by focusing on the contributions resulting from the goals of each individual Others believe that goals pertaining to the whole society provide a necessary unify 58
