Sustaining human on Venus
The reading claims that sustaining human life on venus is impossible. However, the professor explains that it would be challenging though, it is, in fact, possible. He explains that building a station that floats off the surface of venus allows a human presence on venus.
The reading states that maintaining a human presence on venus is impossible because the atmospheric pressure there is 90 times greater than that on earth's surface. As a result, any human being that will land on venus will be crushed. In response, the professor explains that the high atmospheric pressure is a normal physical fact. However, this problem can be solved. The professor points out that using the space station 50km high will make the pressure on earth. As a result, the problem of the high atmospheric pressure the reading explains will be overcome.
