The passage makes some reasons about the fact that dinosaurs are endothermic. On the contrary, the professor presents some reasons that rejects this concept.
Firstly, the passage presents some evidences that shows dinosaurs are occupied in the polar regions in which the temperature is vary cold. According to the speaking passage, previously, the polar regions was not as cold as those are today. Despite the fact that the polar regions were cold in that days, the dinosaurs were not able to move in warmer places.
Secondly, the passage states the fact that there is a connection between endothermic and the position and the movements of the legs. In other words, the will be efficient, if animal legs are positioned underneath. On the contrary, the professor believe that the legs position significantly depends on the weigh of the of the early dinosaurs so it does not prove the endothermic characteristic. For example, the dinosaur require legs in underneath to carry the heavy body.
finally, the passage states a fact about Hanoverian canals that is a structure inside of these species. these canals allow the animal to grow quickly and this characteristic also is an important feature in endothermic. The professor thinks that these evidences are not strong enough. Despite the fact that these canal are exists, the evidences shows the fact that in some periods the dinosaurs will grow less and in some periods these dinosaurs act reversely.
