The article discusses about endotherms that can keep their temperature to constant such as birds and mammals. However, human endotherm can also maintain their temperature at 37 degrees. Thus, dinosaurs show a strong evidence that they can be consider as endotherm regardless of the temperature either warm or cold. The professor, however, aren't convincing and refutes the author's reason below.
First, The author claims that fossils were found on polar region that can only maintain a certain temperature above of the surrounding that couldn't be active in cold temperature. The professor refutes the author's reason, he states that polar dinosaurs can migrate to a warmer temperature or can hibernate. The professor concludes that it doesn't have clear evidence on the dinosaur living in a colder region.
Second, the author suggests that there is a connection on the leg position and endotherm that can possible sustain physical activity such running that shows very efficient to the animals with the legs position underneath the body, on the contrary, the professor refutes the reason of the author. He states that It doesn't show any proof that animals can running with their legs underneath the body, henceforth the professor explains that when the leg is underneath the body the dinosaur will grow larger and wider that makes the dinosaur move slowly and unable to run.
Third, the author states that there is a connector called haversian canal in which it connects the structure to the blood vessels in that way the animals will grow quickly and rapidly, on the other hand, the professor opposes the author's reason .He states that the dinosaurs can grow in another canal called growth ring, in which, the animals will grow slowly during cold temperature that contradict the author's reason. The professor, was completely opposing on the author's reason
