The articles is about great houses that was built in the year of 12th century they were settlement of Chaco canyon in new Mexico. The great houses are famous that is made of stone building that includes of wood that mostly stand to 314 stories high. Some archeopologist have tried to determine how this buildings were built, however no further evidence that is categorized with 3 theories, however, the professor are not convincing and opposes each reason. Further details are as follows.

First, the theory states that great houses is merely purely residential in which 100 people lives here that appears to be as large, famous apartment, whereas, the professor refutes this reason. He states that those great houses outside of it looks a native American apartment and the inside looks like more than 100 people are living and there is no sufficient fireplace that the people can have.That's why the professor is not convince of the first theory.

Second, the theory says that the great houses is like grain maze that can store supply food for the people and could stored food to avoid spilling and rotten the food that serves as long lasting supply of food which can help the great houses that make suitable supply of food to people, but, the professor disagree this theory . He states that grain maze is unsupported in which the excavation is uncovered. He suggest that the grain maze should move to other places.

Third, the great houses can be a place for ceremonial activities one is pueblo alto, that can identified an enormous place formed with a couple of old materials that explain the excavation of the mound revealed deposit that contain a large broken spots that result in people can gather for special ceremonies, the professor contradict the theory. He states that the ceremonial is unwell and the broken pots are trash and it's old stuff that people throw away, thus the professor states it's not a good place for ceremony.
