Both the passage and the lecture discuss endotherms mammal, which are mammal that can maintain their body temperature 37 °in cold season.
Moreover, there is debate between passage and lecture that whether dinasours were endotherms or not.
The lecture state that there is no evidence that dinasours were endotherms ,However the passage brought many flows and cast doubt.
First, The passage claims because dinasours fossil found in polar regin and ,because polar regin is cold area , so only those mammal can live there if they can maintain their body temperature. So the passage claims dinasours are modern reptile.
On the other hands, the lecture dispute the argument by providing reason that polar regin was much warmer than today , so it doesn't prove that dinasours are endotherms.
Second, the passage state dinasours had leg beneath their body which let them to execute activity like running only endotherms animal can have such characteristics, however the lecture dispute by saying that leg beneath their body can let animal to maintain high energy and support more weights.
The last argument, the passage state that dinasours has bone structure called harversran canal which cause rapid growth in dinasours , they claim this is another characteristics of endotherms, although the lecture did not accept the argument by stating bone structure in dinasours only show rapid growth in warm place ,despite dinasours were not able to grow in cold place.
