The article discusses a fascinating topic pertaining to nowadays, young people read fewer literature resources than they used. Unfortunately, this reducing trend influences reading public, culture, and future of the literature. The reading provides three reasons for support, however, the professor explains that this reducing trend in literature reading does not mean hurting to the culture, intellectual process and opposes each of the author’s reasons.
First, the reading passage discusses that there has been a decrease in book reading, particularly in literature, this declining trend is very considerable. In contrast, the professor provides information that people still study book but scientific, history and political books that they also high quality and could stimulate the imagination and creativity of young people. These books are good too. Clearly, the disparity exists between the article and the evidence exhibited by the professor.
Second, the article pushes forth the idea that we, not only lost the advantages of literature even we may use inappropriate sources instead. However, the professor states that more inclination to other references such movie and music is not wasting time inverse listening to brilliant music and watching a good movie not only caused the less culture but affects culture in a positive way.
Finally, the reading posits that unluckily this reducing trend in a reading book is happening at the wrong time when the wonderful literature book is being written. The professor refutes this point by explaining that this is not fair always blame readers if we look at many of books that published these days, a lot of writers are intending to write a difficult passage that hard to understand.
