The article and the lecturer both discuss about the "let it burn" policy. The text provides three reason for refuting this policy. However, the professor believes it is a natural process and the policy does not have any problems. So, he rebuts all of the reasons which have represented in the text.
Firstly, the professor avers the schorched land will be colonized by new plants. actually, the areas where destroyed can be reclamed by the seeds which tolerate high temperatures. On the other hand, the article claims this policy could breed catastrophic result for the nature and damages to park and trees.
Secondly, the lecturer asserts animal population have not been affected. Forexample, a burned woodland is an opportunity for hare. So, it culminated in food chain becomes stronger. While the text mentions the park wildlife is affected.
Finally, the professor states the tourism industry has not been affected. In other word, this kinds of fires not raises very often. Because many factors should be involved to spread the fire in a wide area. Therefore, the naural processes such as rain and wind prevent this kinds of fire. But the text contends that the fires compromised the value of the park as a tourist atraction. So, the fires have negative consequences for local economy.
