The ethanol fule is the promising alternative of the gasoline. The professor give three resons in support of the ethanol fule against the claims explained in the reading passage.
Although ethanol produces carbon dioxide when it burns as well as gasoline it shouldn't cause to increase earth temprature same as gasoline. The reason is behinde the generation process of the ethanol fuel. The ethanol fuel is based on plants and so the generated amount of carbon dioxide may consume by thoes plants. therefore the ethanol fuel dosen't have global warming effect such as gasoline.
In reading passage the auther mentioned about the food shortage problem for animals in the consequence of ethanol fuel production but, according to the professor, the ethanol made by selliose which is not consumed by the animals.
the last problem mentioned in the passage is about the price of ethanol fuel. However the cost of the generation of ethanol fuel is more than gasoline and it needs the government support but with the improvment of ethanol usage by the people its price will become lower because the mass production of that can support its initial investments.
