tpo 40) living in Venus
THE READING ASSERTS THAT human being will need to live on onother planets like Mars, Moon. However living in Venus is impossible due TO ITS EXTREME CONDITIOn becuase of some serious reasons. However, the lecturer challenges the statements made fy reading, and refutes them all. She explians some practical solutions for them.
First, the reading argues that atmospheric pressure at Venus is 90 times greater than the pressure at Earth. On the other hand, the lecturer says that the pressure of fifty kilometers above the surface of the Earth is so much lower than the pressure of Venus's surface. in other word, It is exactly like the Earth's pressure.
Furethermore, the reading holds the view that there are sign of water on venus sureface and the Venus atmosphere is made up of mostly carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and sulfuric acid. While the lecturer holds the view that there are some chemical processes by which water could be obtained from carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid.
Finally the reading states that because of thick clouds around the Venus, just about 40 percent of sunlight can reach the planet surface. in contrast, the lecturer brings up the idea that solar power can be centered and come to the surface of Venus directly .
