TPO-42 - Integrated Writing Task Glass is a favored building material for modern architecture, yet it is also very dangerous for wild birds. Because they often cannot distinguish between glass and open air, millions of birds are harmed every year when the

The lecture disagrees with the passage and denies the reasons have been provided by the reading by following items.

First of all, the teacher do not think the one-way glass is a efficient solution for avoiding birds hurting because he thinks this type of glass acts as a mirror to the birds and they see sky or trees in this glasses and will fly to them according to this fact that they can not percieve mirroring effect.

Secondly, the solotion about colorful windows is not a good idea too because these type of design according to the reading should be some thin stripes which permit birds to see inside of the buildings and this is the main reason of flying to the windows for these species. Teacher says for colorful windows it is needed to make glasses more painted and this resulted in darkness of the rooms which is not suitable for people.

Finally, the magnetic instrument suggestion is inefficient because lecturer provides the scientific proof for that. Birds use the magnetic ability for long distance travelling for example flying from cold areas to warm in order to find south direction and they find their ways in short journeys by eyes and brightness of light so sending magnetic signal will not work for this purpose while the birds do not use this strength.
