TPO 43 integrated writing

Some controversy has generated about how agnostids may have lived. The lecturer claims that the three theories proposed in the article are weak. However, the article states some explanations for every theory.
The first area of debate is about that agnostids were free-swimming predators or not. In the article, the author mentions that these animals were hunters, and they ate other small animals. Nevertheless, the professor refutes that idea by saying that agnostids had tiny eyes, and if they were hunters, they should have a largely developed vision ability, which was absent. Indeed, she asserts that to became hunters, they might have other sensation abilities that helped them in chasing which no evidence proved that. Therefore the lecture refutes the accuracy of the first theory.

The second point of debate is about if agnostids lived on the seafloor and ate dead organisms or not. Although the article supports that idea, the lecturer casts doubt that by pointing that agnostids could move fast and to migrate to many areas that were unusual to the seafloor animals. The professor again refutes the second theory.

The third part of the controversy is about agnostids were parasites. While the reading supports this point, the lecturer refutes this by saying that was not true because the size of agnostids was large. If they were parasites, the animals which fed on would die, so the size of the population of agnostids disproved this theory.
