Which consider a masive stone building that contains hundreds of room and three to four stories high. The writer contends three theories related to great houses by it's used for residential , using for store foods, and used for ceremonies as well. However, the narrator refutes the auther's assessment and he demonstrate three reasons to cast doubted of the claims made in the passage.
The first allegation of the script against which the orator argues is the great houses used solely for residential because the first theory suggest that for each house hundreds of people can live in it. Foe instance, it considered like apartment building which plethora of people lived their for decades. But the lecturer poses that the great houses look hug from outside only. In contrast to inside which seems it doesn't compensate hundreds of people because there are no enough fireplaces to cook. For example, more than one hundred rooms couldn't consider residential .
Second, according to the text, that these buildings used for storing the foods supplies as well. Moreover, foods can last long without impact the food's quality. Though, the speaker find this idea is debatable. He bolsters his opinion by stating that the excavation uncovered the green maize or container. In contrast to the fact that their is a lot of spoil green maize on the floor addition to remain a lot of containers. Finally, the reading passage believe that the great houses used for ceremonies. For gathering people they can find broken pots. But the aerator said that a lot of materials beside broken pots which found. Like for example, stone, sand, and construction materials as well. He agree that all these material should through it away or trash it. So that's what he suggest that the reading was not provided enough evidence.
