The article states that there are so many asteroids in our solar system that we can colonize them. However, the professor explains that asteroid colonization is not practical and refutes each of the author's reasons.

First, the reading states that asteroids have lower gravity than planets, which makes it easier for take-off and landing and carries much lower fuel. The professor refutes this point by stating that lower gravity makes our take-off and landing much more accessible, but there are certain risks that make our astronauts' health problems. For, lower gravity makes our muscle mass low as well as bone density, for instance, in our space stations our astronauts have issues with these health problems and a long period of living our colonies on asteroids makes it worse.

Second, the article states that we can mine valuable and rare metals on asteroids. However, the professor contends that it is not neseserly profitable action the reading did not pay attention to the whole picture t is cost very much to makes colonies and mine metals as well as return them to earth. We can not guarantee that increasing valuable metals on earth make their markets lower Hence, it is not profitable.

Third, the reading avers that asteroids are easy to reach. The lecture opposes this point by saying that they are easy to reach. However, not easy to return always. The asteroid comes near the earth and then gets further .for, the orbit they are even can reach to Mars, and it is not easy to return. It is very challenging.
