Recently there has been a debate about which engine will be more beneficial if it used in car. More specifically in regard to the passage the writer put forth the idea that hydrogen based fuel cell engine has more advantages than internal combustion engine. In the listening passage the lecturer is quick to point out that there are some serious flaws in the writers claims.
First and foremost, the authore of the reading states that, hydrogen-based cell engines are less reliable on availability of resources because it can be made up from water, gas and other plentiful resources which easily available. However, the internal combustion engine is fluctuate by the oil resources. The lecturer in listening disagrees with that she states, the availability of hydrogen is also not easy as writer stats because to the process of separating the hydrogen from other resources in difficult and the process of storing the hydrogen is even more difficult.
Secondly, the writer states that, the fuel cell engine helps to to reduce the pollution in fact the cell fuel engine release the water product in to atmosphere after burning than the combustion engine who releases the carbon dioxide. Again the speakr in the listening disagrees with that and adresses thier point when she states, the process that separate hydrogen from the water and the gases is creat more pollution than the combustion engine does. she goes on to say that the requirement for coal and oil is so high that makes a ton of pollution and that also release carbon dioxide.
Finally the writer bring his argument to close by suggesting that, the fuel cell engine is very affordable because it needs the hydrogen which comes from water and gas and other plenty resources which found easily in society than the combustion engine who requires the oil and petroleum which is worthy and limited. Not surprisingly the lecturer in the listening passage takes issue with this claim by contending that, the fuel cell engine is actually pricy because of the platinum used in it for producing electricity without that, the engine cant be operated
To sum up, both the writer and lecturer hold a conflicting view about hydrogen fuel cells and combustion engines. it's clear that they will have trouble finding common ground on this issue
