First, the reading declares that there is some doubt about the nest that had been found in the state of Arizona about whether is related to bees nest or not. The lecturer, however, sees all the idea dubious and demonstrates some evidence to refutes them all.
First, the author maintains that the first bees fossils that had been found exhibit an existence of bees in 100 million years ago while the recent fossil belongs to 200 million years ago and there is a distinct gap between these two. In contrast, the professor accentuates the fact that the reason why there is no trace of bees fossil in 200 million years ago is probably that in that era trees did not produce a usable resin which bees could adequately preserve on. Furthermore, the reading passage holds the view that experiments evince a mutual evolution in bees and flower plants.
