Ecological balance is impossible to achieve when technological progress constantly ruins our environment Do you agree

As technology develops its impact on the environment simultaneously increases too. It is claimed that it is impossible to reach an ecological balance in our planet when environment constantly been damaged as a result of progress of technology. Considering its huge negative impact on our environment technology is a sole solution to these problems, particularly in mining and heavy industry.

First of all, in order to achieve technological progress humanity exploits natural resources and demand in natural resources increases on a daily basis. These activity negatively reflects on the ecology and contaminates our planet. However, these sort of problems can be solved easily by implementing hi-tech machinery and devices in mining operations all over the world. For example, cleaning of contaminated dump waters during gold mining process could be done by using industrial filters based onnanotechnologies. Thus, the damage done to the environment by technological development could be solved partly by technology itself.

Secondly, every new invention brought by technological development passes several quality tests, which some of them certifies and checks devices in accordance with environmental standards. For instance, most of devices used by people in their daily life ecologically friendly and devices which are not compatible with these standards excluded from sales. Therefore it could be said that all of devices we use today are ecologically friendly and standards checking their compatibility harshens every another day.

In conclusion, as technology develops every another day its negative impact on the environment decreases. Therefore it is not agreed that it is not imposible to reach ecological balance while technology continues to progress.
