The bar graph elucidates the percentage of reasons for taking a car trip by genders in 2005.
It is evident from the graph that, the work purpose was dominated by men drivers, with the percentage of over 50. The recreation purpose had the second highest place of around 11%. The highest purpose for the women drivers to take the car was for the work but less frequent than men drivers (around 40%) . Women drove the car very often, less than 20% of their times for the shopping. Courses purpose was recorded at around 14% for women drivers.
The rest of reasons were reached at below 10% of car usages in 2005. Bank and running errands took 10% of women time to drive the car whilst close to 0% of men spent their time on those purposes. Just below 10% of women drove the car to visit their friends compared to half of those for men. Visiting towns were most popular reasons among men drivers - 10% compared to 5% for women.
Both genders experienced the most of car used for the work. While the shopping dominated the reasons for women to use a car, most men drove the car for recreational purpose.
