The maps depict several significant changes in the village of Stokeford in the two different years 1930 and 2010. Overall, it is clear that the lands of agriculture purposes disappeared, while the number of houses increased significantly.
In 1930, most lands of the village were natural with a few houses located along both sides of the river of the village. However, by 2010, the two areas of farmland to the south-west and to the north-east of the village were converted to residential areas. Over the same period, the more streets were built, leading off the main street to give access to additional houses. The local shops had disappeared for this changes except the post office had been remained.
In addition, in this period, the primary school, which is opposite the office, was enlarged with 2 blocks. The size of the garden in the middle of the village was reduced and the large houses were extended in this site to become the retirement home. Finally, the River Stoke was remained unchanged throughout the period.
