The charts below show the percentage of monthly household income spent on various items by two different groups in one European country.
The pie charts depict the proportion of money spent by low income as well as a high-income group on the several items. The striking feature of the chart is that middle-class people spend almost a bit more than a quarter of income on the eatables.
At a fleeting glance, it is clearly observed that rich individuals had almost doubled interest in the recreational and cultural activities as contrasted to the poor. However, one-fourth income of the middle class devoted to the fuel bills whereas it was a small proportion of in case of profitable people. Not only this, wealthy people invested a huge amount of their income to the miscellaneous, meanwhile, a underprivileged class used 5% less than the others.
Moving further, almost everyone consumed an equal amount of money on clothing. Although, there was a wide difference in the expenses of Transport which was 9% and 16% for poverty-stricken class and wealthy people.
All-in-all, rich people prioritize the activities related to the fun while the poor class prefer to spend amount to fulfill their basic needs.
