Main reasons for migration to/from the UK-2007
The given pie charts compares the main factors which have an effect on people to migrate or emigrate from Britain in 2007.
Overall, the main reasons for migration were to find a job in or out of UK, which totally accounted for half of total causes that was combination of looking for work and definite job percentages, whereas the least dominant factor on emigration process was formal study compared to without any cause on immigration.
The majority of people of other nations came to UK, because they had a definite job and the influence of it was quantified 30% among other factors. The percentage is nearly the same for emigration process with a mere 1% difference. Likewise, the formal study in different countries made 26% influence on people to live in Britain, while the effect of it on emigrant was 4%.
On the other hand, 18% of people emigrated without any reason from UK, this reason have 3 times less effect on immigrants. The proportions of joining a family was nearly same for both migrations around 14 %.
