People who have original ideas are of much greater value to society than those who are simply able to copy the ideas of others well.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Today having a good, new and effective idea is a key to success in global world. By investing on such an idea and developing it you can reach an unbelievable success. Although people who have original ideas are a valuable source for innovative ideas, people who have the ability to copy the ideas are beneficial somehow.
In my opinion, people with good ideas play significant role in society because they are source of inventions and with their new ideas they can improve the economy of the society. For example, in a company these people are the heart of progress and they are valuable investments for keeping the company alive. Imagine big companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google ant etc. In all of their products you can see new ideas.
On contrary, there are other group of people who are good in copying other people's ideas. In the first glance it seems that what they do is not big enough to have an effect on society but by observing deeply in their career you can get how important they are. For instance, a foreign company produces a new product that is very expensive and you can't afford to buy it. By utilizing this group of people you can copy the idea, develop it and produce a similar product.
To sum up, both group of people can be beneficial for a society. It depends on how and when you choose the right person for gaining your goals.
