The table shows how long it took to travel around a city before and after transport network was improved. The bar graph shows how much it costs to use different forms of transport in the city.
The cheapest form of transport is the bus, at € 0.40 per kilometer. However, it is also the slowest, even after improvements. Average journey times were 28 minutes before improvements, and 23 minutes after. The tram is slightly more expensive, at € 0.50 per kilometer. However, it is faster than the bus. Average journey times were reduced from 22 to 16 minutes.
The most expensive way of getting around the city is by taxi. However, it remains the fastest form of transport. Even after improvements to the system, a taxi ride only takes about 12 minutes. Car drivers have seen the biggest increase in journey times, from 10 to 15 minutes.
