Reward system
The lecturer provides the opposite opinion concerning what article offered.
The article points out, how advantageous producing and reward system is.
Behaviour that is rewarded, tends to be repeated. Provided that, employee’s productivity increases, they work harder and are hugely motivated.
The lecturer finds hiding and deeper results. The most persuasive argument he states is, that many researches showed, people do not like this reward system. They prefer to get paid, rather being given some respect and gifts. Furthermore, most of them perceive rewards as “punishment” and as being controlled. Another key aspect the lecturer discusses is, that people who expect a reward, more desired the reward is, more disappointed they become, when don’t achieve their goal. Another key thing to remember, sometimes the employees stay quiet, when they need some help from their supervisors. Some of them believe, if they need ask questions, employer will consider them as unskilled. It directly affects on their performance and reduces it.
All in all, by the points of view we can see that there are mostly disadvantages in the above mentioned system. We can agree, that employers should search for more acceptable ways to increase employee’s quality.
