The bar chart illustrates the rate of male and female Australians belonging to different age groups doing regular exercise in 2010. Overall, the most striking feature was the similarity in the judgment of both groups in 4 out of 6 factors in which women worked out more than men.
As can be seen from the bar chart, women whose ages ranging from 25 to 64 were more into physical activity than men. Specifically, the year 2010 experienced the fact that there were from 39.5% to 45.1% of men claiming to do regular physical activity, by contrast, the figure for women was more outweigh, at between 48.9% and 53.3% in the same range of age groups. Interestingly, the difference was more pronounced as for Australian people aging from 35 to 44, where there were 13% higher of women doing exercise than their man counterparts.
With regard to the youngsters belonging to the youngest age groups examined, 52.8% of boys did physical activity regularly in which compared to just 47.7% of girls admitted doing so. As far as the oldest age group is concerned, the elderly in Australia shown a tendency towards doing exercise presenting an approximately equal percentage at around 47% in both genders
