The graph shows data of three countries, there are; Japan, Sweden and USA. The information contains of proportion of population over 60 years old just under 100 years.
In the 1940, USA had inhabitants aged 65 approximately 90% and dramatically increased more than 5% in the 1980. Moreover, a number of inhabitants aged 65 will reach a peak at 24% in 2040. Sweden had a dramatically rose from 1940 to 1980 and fell in the middle 1980, but increased in the middle 2000. However, populations aged 65 of Sweden reach a peak at 26 percent in 2040. In 1940, old inhabitants in Japan fell down and in the middle 1980 have a dramatically increased and reached a peak at 27 percent in 2040.
On the other hand, from 1940to 1960, old people in Japan was lower than proportion of people aged 65 years in USA and Sweden. However, in the 2040 population of old people in Japan will be higher than USA and Sweden.
In conclusion, all of countries reach a peak in 2040 and sharply increase the number of old people from 2020 to 2040. From 1940 to 1980 proportion of populations aged 65 in Sweden and USA sharply increased, but proportion of old people in Japan decreased.
