The given pie charts illustrate the figure for coffee in term of consumption, production and profit. Overall, South America reached the highest point of world production but the most considerable consumption belonged to European countries. Furthermore, a vast majority of coffee come from shipper.
According to the first pie chart, coffee produced by South America made up more than 40%, compared to 17% from Central America and 2% of Oceania. In addition, there was a similar pattern of coffee production between Asia and Africa, reaching at from 18% to 19%.
Looking at information more detail from the second pie chart, more than half of coffee is used by European countries, followed by 11% of North America and 7% from Japan. Interesting, coffee, utilised by other countries in the world made up more than a quarter, which was just a half of that number of European countries. Furthermore, while the the profit coming from shipper was more than twice as high as that of seller, explorer and producer had a fair proportion of making profit from coffee, which accounted for 10%.
