Modern lifestyles mean that many parents have little time for their children. Many children suffer because they do not get as much attention from their parents as children did in the past
Being a parent means that you've risen to a new stage and huge responsibilities. Ways of parenting differentiate from a person to another, they either do it the old ways or the new ways but mostly there are things that limit their abilities and time.
These days modern lifestyles mostly take over parenting and affect it badly by parents not having much time to be with their children, and that leads to many other things. Both parents would be working at almost the same time and that results in not having enough time to stay and do the usual activities parents do with their children. For example, parents wouldn't be around their children so children would have to stay alone and that could result in them to be lazy or even have depression.
On the other hand the old ways of parenting, most parents used to have much more time than these days.
They would be around their children and eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner together with them. Usually, on weekends they would go out together to have a meal and do activities together, like swimming, playing soccer, and even simple games like tag.
Moreover, I think that parents should always be with their children and organize their time. Because not staying that much with their children will make the children suffer and affect them physically and mentally. And parents should do their best to be with their children no matter what the situation is. Because in the end, they would regret not staying much with them as they're the most amazing thing in the world.
